INSTRUCTIONS

Monster Night is a B-grade science fiction adventure in the spirit of the Ed Wood or Roger Corman classics of the 1950's.  What makes this story different is that it is told in parallel time.  At each time segment (with only a few exceptions) there are several scenes, all taking place at the same time.  You will be given the location of each scene and it's up to you which one you read.  Once you get to the end, you can return to the beginning and read different scenes and can relive the story from different angles and from several different points of view.

Enjoy!

INTRODUCTION

INT. LIBRARY

A well-dressed man in his late fifties wearing a smoking jacket sits in a leather chair.  He turns and looks directly into the camera and speaks.

MAN: The atom bomb....  Organized crime....  Visitors from other worlds....  Rhubarb.... What do these things have in common?  And what do they all have to do with a small town called Whiskey Creek?  You may as well ask what patterns can be found in the myriad recesses of the collective human soul!

MAN (CONT'D): The year is 1959, a mere 5 years since the Eisenhower Space Federation first started exploring the stars.  Life is normal in Whiskey Creek, perhaps a bit too normal .  And maybe -- just maybe -- the citizens of this small Iowa town need to be shaken up a bit.  You be the judge!
